He is good spirits and is able to move his whole body. At the time of the accident he was wearing one of the new style neck braces which his doctor has stated that it certainly saved himself from serious spinal injury or even his life. In the event of rain the cut off tar section will be used and racing will be on the full tar track where wet weather tyres can be used. Farewell to Ian Cunningham. It was a sad weekend with the loss of the champion racer & all round top bloke Ian Cunningham. The quiet achiever of off road & Enduro racing, he had skills that many guy’s could only wish for. His wild antics on and off the track, will leave some great memory’s of this legend guy permanently imprinted on the brains of many many people. Mark Avard and the team at ASM send our deepest condolences to the Cunningham family who are great genuine country people and Ian’s many friends from his home town of Goulburn all over Australia. There will be a minute silence at the Supermoto race on the weekend to remember Ian Cunningham the legend. Rest in Peace Mate, we will miss you.The world is not as good a place with out you in it. The good guy’s should not die so young. |
